Registered Nurse

Duties and responsibilities:
A registered nurse is a nurse who has graduated from a nursing program and met the requirements outlined by a country, state, province or similar licensing body in order to obtain a nursing license.  Rns care for patients and educate them on health issues to prevent future illnesses. Along with technical skills necessary for the medical profession.  Nurses have many responsibilities. Some of the things they do are performing physical exams and health histories, they provide health promotion, counseling and education, and they administer medications, wound care and ect.

Reflection:
I'm interested in this career because my aunt is a Registered Nurse and it really interests me. I'm interested in doing what she does, i look up to her. I like the idea of being to help save people's lives and i hope to one day be able to do that everyday.
