"All well your part;there all honor lies."
-Alexander Pope

This quote is saying that Your actions determine your reputation. Your reputation determines who you are. You're doing whats right If you're helping your family, friends, classmates and anyone else, it makes you an honorable person.Treat other the way you want to be treated.  If you act good, you deserve to be treated good.  If you respect others, others will respect you. Appearance and power does not matter. Age and height does not matter either. All that matters is the good deed you did. It could of been a very small one or a very large one but you did it so that will bring honor to your name.

Presidents Day

Image result for presidents day
Presidents day is an American holiday celebrated on the third Monday in February. It was established in 1885. It was originally a holiday to celebrate George Washington’s birthday but over the years it changed and now we celebrate all us past and present presidents. Presidents and Independence day are alike. Both are viewed as a time to celebrate and to remember the past. You can show honor and respect on Presidents day by attending to events that are made to honor presidents on this day such as ceremonies, parades or etc. We can also teach children about many different types of presidents.

3 ways to show respect
* Hang an american flag outside your house
*Write a letter to a president
* Make arts and crafts that include presidents and/or the things they accomplished

"Doing what is right, fair and honorable is more important than winning or losing."
-Chick Moorman

You can win or lose but that doesn't make something right. Winning and/or losing doesn't matter. If something is wrong it's wrong, if something is right its right. Getting treated fair with respect and honor is way more important than being a champion. For example Donald Trump won the election but that doesn't make it right for him to be a racist person. He's supposed to be a leader, a role model and look at what our generation is dealing with. He’s discriminating people of different races. He's putting labels on them like they were objects. Hes calling them bad people just because a small portion of that race did something bad. It's not fair that all of them have to deal with this, they did not do anything to deserve this. He wants respect and honor but how can you receive such thing if you yourself don't do the same to your people? And don't say these are not your people because once you became president all these people from different races become your people, even if you don't want them to be, even if we don't want to. At the moment this is the situation and sadly we have to deal with this. I went off topic but my point is choosing and doing the right, being fair and honorable is way more important than winning.
