You have to keep your word. If you say you're going to do something, do it. If you make a promise, keep it. People get disappointed when their friends, family etc dont keep their promises. It shows that you cant be trusted. When i make a promise, i keep it. But i never make promises i know i cant keep, you shouldn't either. This shows the kind of person you are. For example, if you tell your parents that you'll be home by a certain time, be home at that time or before. If you dont keep your word, repercussions can come after it. Some examples include losing your friends, losing the trust of people you love and care about and may be getting grounded by your legal guardian.

If you say you're going to do something, do it. Don't ever break promises. Promises build up your reputation but they can also destroy it. I personally don't like breaking promises and i don't like people breaking their promises. I feel disappointed when others break their promises , why say you're going to do something if you're not? Breaking promises can have repercussions. For example, you can lose friends, family, your reputation and ect. If you know youre not good at keeping promises, don't make them.
