Surgeon

Duties and Responsibilities:
Surgeons are medical doctors with additional training to perform general or specialized types of surgeries. While surgeons spend time preparing for procedures, reviewing files and meeting with patients, their most critical role is to perform accurately and efficiently in the operating room. During a procedure, the surgeon carries out the steps outlined with the patient in pre-surgery appointments. Specific actions vary based on the type of surgery but the surgeon typically uses standard equipment and tools to perform operations. These include scalpels, laser technology, scissors and clamps. The surgeon also relies on her team to assist during the procedure. In this role, she communicates her equipment and tool needs as well adjustments to oxygen and IV levels throughout the procedure. The surgeon is responsible for quickly identifying problems and working to correct them during the procedure.

Education:
Before entering medical school, aspiring surgeons must complete undergraduate school to earn a bachelor’s degree. These 4 year degrees do not have to focus specifically on medicine; however curricula should focus heavily on physical sciences to prepare students for the strong emphasis on science in medical school. Courses in Anatomy, biology, chemistry, math and physiology may be beneficial. After medical school students must continue their medical training in residency programs, the programs can last 3-7 years depending on the specialty.  Students must stay another 1-3 years in postdoctoral training in fellowship programs.  A surgeon mainly focuses on operating on patients and requires a bachelor’s degree, medical degree, and license.

"What you are as a person is far more important than what you are as a basketball player."
-John Wooden
Your actions, your personality, your reputation and everything about you is way more important than your label. You could be the best basketball player in the world but if you treat people unfairly because your "famous" people will slowly start to disrespect you. John Wooden didn't care about winning. He just cared about being a good, fair person and look where it got hum. Your actions say it all. If your actions show something negative about you, your basketball skills don't matter at all. If you're considered a very good basketball player, that will be your label. But once you do something you're not supposed to people will criticize you. The label you were given "very good basketball player" will be removed and all people will remember it as the negative action you committed. So that is why your character is more important than your "skills".

"True wealth is of the heart, not of the purse."
-Pathros
Money doesn't matter, it only seems like it does. Yes we need money in order to buy our necessities but when you think about it, money is just paper that controls our lives. I think that this is pretty sad. You can have all the money in the world and be completely alone and you still wouldn't be wealthy from the heart. Money does not buy happiness, people only make it seem that way. People who are wealthy from the heart care about others more than themselves, they do anything possible to make people feel better, they want to do good to others and their surrounds but most of all they have more love in them than hatred. These are only a few of the qualities that real wealthy people have. if you have some of these qualities you should feel proud of yourself because not everyone has them. True wealth is not about having alot of money, houses, cars or etc, its about your personality, the way you are, the little things that you have and the way you treat others.

"You cannot do wrong and feel right. It is impossible."
-Ezra T. Benson
If you do bad you will feel regret afterwards. You can try your very best to fake that you are okay with the action you committed but deep down you'll feel guilt and that is not okay. If you always choose the right, you ll never feel this way. If you were to cheat on the person you supposedly loved, you would feel horrible. You would do anything to hide this from him/her and make sure she/he  never finds out. But why cheat in the first place ? Why chose the wrong over right if it doesn't bring you anything good ? When you chose the wrong, all the that comes after it is repercussions.
