Duties and responsibilities
Ear, nose and throat specialists, are known as otolaryngologists or ENT specialists, are medical doctors responsible for surgical and medical treatment for the ears, nose, and throat as well as the related head and neck areas. These physicians are trained to treat patients with diseases and disorders of any part from your neck and above.

Salary: $205,000 per year

Education
·         Complete four years in medical school
·         Take two years in otolaryngology
·         3-5 years in an ent residency program

Demand for this profession
These physicians are particularly expected to be in great demand as over 35 million Americans suffer from sinus related conditions every year.  Moreover as the elderly population continues to increase, there will be a growing need for these professionals, who can treat and manage hearing loss and other specific needs of the elderly
Employment outlook: good


Reflection
I am not interested in following this career in my future. I am interested in entering the medical field but not to be this type of doctor.
