Women stand up for what they believe in

This topic is on women and the new abortion laws. I chose this topic because i'm a woman and i think this law is unfair. Many states have passed abortion laws throughout the years but the law Arkansas recently passed caught my attention. Arkansas recently passed a law that states “women can be barred from having an abortion by their spouse or family member, even in instances of spousal rape or incest. The "Unborn Child Protection From Dismemberment Abortion Act," which became Act 45.” Yes i do think abortion is wrong but i dont think its right to make it illegal. Everyone should have the right to do whatever they want with their body, even if someone else thinks it's wrong. This law lets rapists sue women (victims) who want/have an abortion. I dont think thats right. Rapists and the government should not have a say in what a women does or does not do with her body. Rapists ruin their victims life, they can do so much more harm just because of this law. I am against abortion when both the man and the woman knew what they were doing and didn't use any type of protection. But making it illegal still isn't right. Do you like it when someone tells you want to do/ bosses you around? Would you like it if you couldn't control/ do whatever you wanted with your body? They are slowly taking over our body and soon it won't even be ours anymore.

"Even if everybody is doing it, WRONG IS NEVER RIGHT."
-Russell M. Nelson

Russell Nelson is saying that you shouldn't do something just to fit in, just to impress people. Stand out, choose the right. If you know that someone is doing something that is not right, don't do the same. If you follow other people's footsteps, you can get into trouble. Don't be afraid to be the only sunflower in a garden of roses. If know its the right thing to do,stick out. Its okay if you're alone, it just simply means that you aren't afraid to be a successful person even if nobody is there to support you. It might be hard but its better than following the crowd and choosing the wrong.
Amsterdam, Netherlands

Amsterdam is the Netherlands capital, it's known for its artistic heritage, elaborate canal system and narrow houses with gabled facades. There are numerous bike paths and museums. Van Goghs museum is in Amsterdam. The Anne frank house is also located here. Theres also a cat museum. This place is truly beautiful. I want to go here because of all the museums and because of its scenery. I could paint and write in peace. I could also take pictures of its scenery. There many bridges in Amsterdam. There's 165 canals.Amsterdam is built on water. Buildings have to be built on long poles that get dug deep into the ground to prevent them from sinking. There's bikes everyone, almost everyone owns one. There's more bikes than there is people.Smoking tobacco is banned but smoking weed is not. They support LGBT, they opened the doors to same sex marriage in 2001. Amsterdam is one of the top 25 safest cities in the world. The warmest weather is from June to August, with temperatures between 21 - 26 degrees Celsius. There are rarely extreme temperatures. The air is relatively humid and fog is common in autumn and spring. There are stronger winds from October to March. Theres many more interesting things about this city and i hope to one day go here.

“You can't be right by doing wrong; you can't be wrong by doing right.”
-Thomas S. Monon

There will never be repercussions if you always choose the right. But if you choose the wrong, theyre always be repercussions. You should never do something you know is wrong, it'll just get you in trouble. Choose the right, that path will lead you success. Choosing the wrong will take you nowhere, you'll just be walking in circles until you decide to change your direction to goodness. You can't do something bad and get away with it. Sooner or later someone will find out and many problems will come your way. If you don't want any problems, make sure to always choose the right. Choosing the right will always be the good thing to do and it'll never cause you any harm.

“Enthusiasm makes the difference.”
-Dr Norman Vincent Peale

Enthusiasm is what makes life better, without it your life would be bitter. If you are enthusiastic about things, you'll notice that you'll have more fun. Your life will continue to be bitter until you change your attitude. For example, let's say your parents are going out with some of your relatives and they are forcing you to go, you'll have the worst time in those couple of hours if you're complaining the whole time.  You have to enjoy it, even if you didn't want to go. You have to make the best out of it.  Being confident is one of the steps toward enthusiasm, you have to build self esteem. If youre not enthusiastic, fake it. It'll eventually come to you.

"I wasnt trying to leave a legacy. I was trying to do what was right."
-Dean Smith
Doing what is right often makes you better person. If you do good things, good things will come back to you. This quote shows that fame is not better than choosing the right. Fame usually gets you in trouble sooner or later. Fame has you in everyone's mouth for a bad reason. But if you do good things, there will not be a reason to talk bad about you. This man was a basketball coach and a good one too. He was a good person who always played by the rules and he thought his team that.

Reflection
This career does interest me because it includes two of my favorite subjects, art and science. I'm stuck between going into the arts: photography, writing, painting and the sciences: that includes medicine. With this career i can do both things i love at the same time. Ill consider this career because if i do work hard for it, ill never have to work a day in my life.
