Medical health Counselor 

Duties and responsibilities 
Mental health counselors work with individuals, groups and communities to improve mental health. They encourage clients to discuss emotions and experiences. They look into issues including substance abuse, aging, bullying, anger management, careers, depression, relationships, LGBTQ issues, self image, stress and etc. Some medical health counselors help people who have normal cognitive processes cope with difficult life events for example physical illness, death of loved ones, divorce.

$26,300-$68,790

Education required 
To become a mental health counselor youll need to earn a undergraduate degree in counseling, psychology, sociology or social work.

Reflection
This career does interest me. It interests me because this can help me get a better understanding of what people do to cope their feelings and why they do what they do. Im current taking a sociology class so i hope i can do this in the future
